Dimitri! Did you adopt the cats? I surely hope you did because I purchased something on sale and they would be of no use if you did not adopt the cats. Also, hello, I hope you are well.
[Hey, guess what, it's Winter Holiday Time! That means gifts, and so Dimitri will be getting an all expenses paid couples spa day for Dimitri and Byleth, in addition to everything necessary - pampering, tailored suit, spiffy shoes - to get him all dapper for the upcoming ball.
[ Left on Dimitri's bedside are a bouquet of dark blue flowers and a nicely wrapped box with a bow on it. If Dimitri ventures inside, he'll find an antique dagger with a small lion embellishment wrapped in a silver chain with a moon pendant, as Dimitri was born on the Ethereal Moon. A nicely written letter attached to it reads:
[ He'd honestly forgotten that his birthday was approaching, so when he wakes up to the letter and present and no Byleth to his side, he feels his heart clench...
Excuse him while he has a tiny cry before he replies— ]
[ He's a bit flustered when he gets this, looking at all the presents and not sure what to make of them. So he just says— ]
I appreciate the courting, Sylvain. But shouldn't you be spoiling yourself, too?
[ And it's why, in a nicely wrapped blue box, Sylvain's going to get an elegant set of scented candles in his bedroom, and a black-and-red men's scarf with a matching sweater shirt, and an elegant pin to wear on a suit.
He might have gone feral but he at least tried for something soft! {
You're doing a good enough job already, so far. I doubt you'd like to leave a person hanging, my friend. You look wonderful, by the way.
[ But he ends up smiling when he gets the pictures and after some time, Sylvain will get a nice picture with him taking one of the mirror with him in what he sent. ]
[He'd absolutely leave most hanging. Just not Dimitri, or Felix, or anyone else close... which, to be fair, is most of what Dimitri would witness.]
As do you~ I'm afraid I'll have to demand a dance with you at the ball.
Haha~ I just got lucky. I'd take you to get it tailored if it wasn't right, though, don't worry.
[It was a lot of approximating (He's about this tall and this broad and...), combined with some knowing looks from the seamstress (you hold him in your arms often~) and Prismatica "will resize to fit" technology to fill in the gaps.]
You would get a dance whether or whether not I'd like one, it seems.
[ Damning them or not. Thankfully, Claude was able to remind him again that he hadn't lost his touch. ]
Though it looks like you've naught to worry over, my friend. It fits very well. Would that I could have given you something better, But the merchant selling these assured me the candles would be good for you. Have you tried lighting them?
[ There are multiple packages at Dimitri's place today. One is a small box with a shiny black bow that contains these fine gloves with cashmere lining. There is also a nice new eyepatch in there in case wearing one all the time gets stinky.
The next package is a bunch of food. Lots of fancy cheese, some sausage (wink wonk), fresh bread, apple cider, coffee beans, and holiday tea, along with some Firialia candy (don't ask him if they're good, he didn't try the sugary stuff).
The card reads: "Happy Birthday, Happy Festival, from Felix" ]
