Expecting it of Felix is even more far-fetched- though somewhere deep down, he knows that it's likely Felix would have turned away from him if he'd fallen too far. But he's glad... this Felix stayed. That he kept some faith in him, and that Byleth- their Byleth, was able to bring him back before he fell too far.
As they step into the park, Dimitri glances to his side where he can see Felix, the way he looks and carries himself- the way he's looking far gentler than his usual guarded manner. He always found Felix worth admiring, even if he carried immense disdain for him, but...
